Is Jesus Christ the Only way?

To answer this question we must first state; what are the basis for this belief and is it logical to believe so. There are thousands of religion in the world and claims to have answers to our earthly questions. Such as “why are we on this earth?”, “what’s the purpose to life?” and religion seem to have answers. But the most common and vital inquiry is “Is there an afterlife?” or “is there a Heaven, and if there is a Heaven; how can i get there?’ All religion in he world answers these questions with the same answer. That basically you need to be good and follow the religious rituals they have. But one answer stands out, Jesus with his claims to be God incarnate said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJV)”. In another verse it says “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (John 10;9)” What He (Jesus Christ) is asserting here is the exclusiveness of salvation (going to heaven). That was expressed when He said “NO MAN cometh unto the Father, but by me”. Another said claims of the Bible is that Jesus is the only mediator (a go between) to God.   “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Tim. 2:5 KJV)”  Now all such assertion and statements was said forceful and with authority. The only question is are they true?

All the claims that Jesus Christ stated while he was here on earth. Has to be true or not. He is either God in the flesh and is the only way to heaven and no other. A common phrase from preachers is “He is either Lord, Lier, or Lunatic”. The decision is your to make. Either His claims are truth or lies.

Some would say what “what about other religion?” Does that mean they are wrong, thus their followers are going to hell? Well if all of Christ claims are true, and I believe they are the answer would be, a yes. Would I be guilty of being judgmental. No. Because I have simply stated the facts. Others would declare “Truth is relative to the religion we have” this is a common teaching of today’s society and its a false doctrine ( I would call it a doctrine of the devil). Truth will always be true. And is not subject to any view points of any religion. Relativist (People believing truth is relative) are like professors teaching 1+1=5 as true based on his view point, when it should be 1+1=2. Which I know is absurd but to their understanding is right.

Now is Jesus Christ the only way to Heaven. Positively. Yes! I will end this this passage of Scripture that will conclude why people will not accept the truth, and the exclusiveness of salvation in Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-14 (KJV)  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
