We as finite beings have limitations. We cannot fly like a bird, run like a cheetah, or even swim like a fish. Even the best athletes in the world get tired. The smartest person in the world cant solve the worlds dilemma. Oh, Yes we invent amazing things to cope for what we lack, yet there is always a void we cannot fill.
Have you had a time in your life when you’re introduced to a place that’s new? Maybe your parents took you to the park as a kid, a new house, the mountains, the beach, or carnival perhaps. The feeling is indescribable, and you want that feeling to linger. Well the feeling of Glory in Heaven is more, unfathomable and as the Apostle Paul describes “not lawful for a man to utter” 2 Cor. 12:4. The limitations that we now have will not be a boulder, for we will have a glorified body. Our senses only hear sounds, see light, feel objects, smell odor, and taste savor. But in our glorified body, we may see the sounds, taste the light and more unimaginable things that could happened. We may run but not get tired, nor feel the need to sleep.
The comforts that we feel now are incomparable to the glories God has in store for us, His redeemed. Heaven is a very remarkable place, yet we don’t deserve it. We deserve the otherwise; which is torment and destruction in Hell.
Now give time to thank God for the gift of Eternal Life, and witness to those who doesn’t have it. Don’t get selfish for the gift you don’t deserve. Remember you are just a beggar telling other beggars where to find the bread of life. Don’t be a man blocking to pearly gates to open. Guide them to the door, not block it. Go, tell others of the glory there eyes could see, if they have the Saviour by there side.
