Bloody Hands

People die by the second, and souls are brought to eternity and written in their destination eternal is damnation (Heb.9:27). But why should this be? Are we not capable of walking with good tidings on our feet? Is it not shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph. 6:15)? As we feast with our meals and slumber on our beds souls are burned in hell. Have we, really the words of life? Words that supposedly is better than any and is wiser than all. Why then do we slack? Why then do we not fulfill the commission (Matt. 28:19-20). If we truly believe in the faith of the people that will not obey the gospel (2 Thess. 1:8), why then do we not warn them publickly and house to house (Acts 20:20)? We should be as a fireman on the rescue and not on vacation (Jude 1: 22-23). If we believe souls are pulled down to hell daily, why then do we not warn them hourly?

We the Church have become so lukewarm that God could not bring himself to swallow us in the riches of his glory, but has spewed us out into vanity. We drown ourselves with countless activities though they may not be wrong but are of no value in eternity (1 Cor. 3:11-15). We live as if we own our bodies that was bought back (1 Cor. 6:20, 7:23) from sin to life. We forget that we were redeem to tell others to get redeem.

I wrote this out of desperation but of also inspiration. We have not been doing what we should as the Church. We lack the love for dying souls, we lack the love for God, His words, and His provision. We are apt to profess but not to possess. We have become a stage for hypocrisy and wickedness when we should be the light that shines in darkness. We have created disciples but only to make them worse than we are. Where oh, where have we gone wrong.

I see! Look at your hands, and see! it is stain with the blood of the wicked that have not been warned nor have heard a voice calling them out to the light (Ezek. 33:6). Their blood shall be upon your hands, my hands and ours. For we neglect to send out the warning as a careless watchman not attending to his duties.

Wash that bloody hands with the living water and start all over (Eph. 5:26). Let us not let the sinner die unwarned and uncounted for. Let us strive to be free from the blood of all men (Acts 20:26). Only then can we truly say we have we have fulfilled the commission.
